1. What do you think of your colleagues/how have they helped you?

Everyone is lovely and extremely approachable. Very friendly and happy to help.

2. What have you learnt so far?

I’ve learnt about coding, HTML, CSS and jQuery so far, and seen how much work goes into making websites – a lot!

3. What have you enjoyed the most?

Learning new things has been very enjoyable and having a laugh with my co-workers at the same time has been a massive bonus.

4. Why did you choose to do an apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship seemed to be the perfect opportunity to learn and progress in something I’ve wanted to do as my dream job for a long time.

5. What are your ambitions for your future at GML?

With a bit of luck I’ll learn and contribute as much as I possibly can to the company and complete my apprenticeship, then be a full time web developer.

Ben:

Ben1. What do you think of your colleagues/how have they helped you?

All of my colleagues are incredibly nice and extremely helpful for when I am stuck with development. Everyone’s great to have a laugh with and it is an overall pleasant group 😀

2. What have you learnt so far?

I have learnt that everything I knew about web development was extremely basic and that I had to expand my knowledge to a greater extent than what I expected.

3. What have you enjoyed the most?

Starting the development of a web site is an extremely enjoyable experience, as I learn a lot more than I would by just being taught.

4. Why did you choose to do an apprenticeship?

Many jobs within web development require either degrees or years of experience. An apprenticeship will allow me to gain necessary experience within web development that will assist me throughout the many years to come.

5. What are your ambitions for your future at GML?

After only being here for a week, I hope that after a year’s long apprenticeship, that I would potentially stay on the great team and continue as a web developer for GML.
